Ultimate Dragon Ball Online - PvE & Balance Updates

PvE Update

  • PvE has received a massive change, especially for endgame content where attack speed was dominant. Players can now take on any challenge using either their abilities or auto attacks.

Skill Visual Effects Revamp

  • All skills now feature stunning VFX updates to align with their effects and iconic Dragon Ball attacks (e.g., Final Flash, Burning Attack).
  • Some skills now have unique animations at max level!

CC Status Visual Enhancement

  • All status effects are now much easier to see.

Critical Damage Boosts

  • Skills with back damage bonuses now deal even higher critical damage!

Transformations Reworked

  • 20-minute cooldowns allow multiple uses in both **PvE & PvP**.
  • Balanced and enhanced for a better gameplay experience.

Aggro System Overhaul

  • A proper MMO experience with smarter boss mechanics and challenging dungeons.

Boss Buffs

  • Higher defenses and new offensive abilities added to bosses across the game.
  • Diverse mechanics have been reworked.
  • Boss aggro will be much harder to manage.

Budokai Updates

  • Preliminaries (RO32) matchups are now determined by Dojo Seeding → PvP Ranked Battle Rankings.
  • Hero and Conqueror Titles granted after 5 wins.
  • Special Champion Title for the first adult Solo Budokai winner each month.

Ranked Battles Revamp

  • Matching limit increased to players within 7 levels of each other.
  • Top 3 players receive unique rewards weekly.
  • Rankings reset weekly.
  • Severe penalties introduced for win-trading.

Crowd Control Adjustments

  • Diminishing return on consecutive CC duration reduction lowered to 10% (from 20%).
  • Focus stat CC reduction capped at 20% (from 40%).

Complete Class Reworks

  • Every class has been revamped to provide a fresh feel and better balance across all level caps.
  • Skills now feature secret bonus effects (e.g., faster animations, increased range), making every skill worth maxing out!

Movement Speed Boosts

  • All Kid and Female races now move at the same speed as Human Male adults.

Single Player Experience

  • The game has been redesigned to promote open-world play without needing external buffs.

Stats Adjustments

  • STR and SOUL grant more attack power.
  • CON offers significantly more LP.

Critical & Regen Limits

  • Critical block rate capped at 60%.
  • LP and EP regeneration on hit capped at 50%.

Upgrade System Rework

  • Soft cap of +12.
  • Upgrading beyond that will be significantly harder.

Skill Reworks

  • Faint Death grants total immunity to incoming attacks.
  • Ask Popo’s Help is now an AoE revive for everyone.
  • Kami's Retreat (Poko Priest) now allows you to fight.
  • Most buffs of the same category can now stack.
  • Many underused skills have been reworked to provide more build variety.
  • Confusion and Fear travel distance increased.

Critical Damage Bonus Rework (capped at 75%):

  • Physical Crit Bonus: ~~50%~~ → 20% of STR + 3% of DEX added to FINAL DMG.
  • Energy Crit Bonus: ~~50%~~ → 20% of SOL + 3% of FOC added to FINAL DMG.

Backstab Damage Bonus Rework (capped at 75%):

  • Physical Backstab Bonus: ~~50%~~ → 20% of STR + 3% of DEX added to FINAL DMG.
  • Energy Backstab Bonus: ~~50%~~ → 20% of SOL + 3% of FOC added to FINAL DMG.

Combat Adjustments

  • Auto Attack Damage reduced by 40%.
  • Critical Chance capped at ~~90%~~ → 66%.
  • Status Resistance Rate capped at 90%.
  • Defense Rate Proc Chance increased from ~~20%~~ → 35%.
  • Dodge Chance capped at ~~90%~~ → 83%.
  • Cell-X Combat Ring Buffs: ~~35 STR/SOL 15 FOC~~ → 35 STR/SOL 10 FOC/DEX.

Defense System Adjustments

  • Critical Block Rate cap increased from ~~60%~~ → 66%.
  • Guard Block/Resist/Counter chances capped at 70%.
  • Critical Damage Skill Bonus cap reduced from ~~80%~~ → 75%.
  • Backstab Damage Skill Bonus cap reduced from ~~80%~~ → 75%.

Transformation Adjustments

Kaio-Ken:
  • LP/EP drain reduced slightly.
    • Level 4 retains high drain but grants massive power.
Super Saiyan Transformation:
  • EP drain slightly reduced.
Great Namek & Pure Majin Transformations:
  • Adjusted for better balance.

Equipment & Titles Adjustments

  • Mudosa and Budokai Gear Sets: Adjusted for both PvE and PvP.
  • Budokai Titles: Bonuses reworked.

Swordsman Skill Rework

  • Flash Slash is now → Sonic Flash!
    • Strike your target at supersonic speed, leaving them unable to react!

Crane Hermit Buffs

  • Cyclone and Typhoon now deal bonus damage from behind, rewarding precise positioning.

Senzu Beans Cooldown Increase

  • 3 minutes (was 2 minutes).

Other Class Adjustments

Wonder Majin
  • Intense Rage:
    • Animation speed increased by 20%.
Karma/Plasma Majin:
  • Stats of quest sub-weapons slightly adjusted.
Turtle Hermit
  • Super Kameha:
    • Lv1 Damage reduced: ~~1859+338%~~ → 1359+338%.
Warrior
  • Mystic Attack:
    • RP Duration removed.
Shadow Knight Adjustments:
  • Hyper Light Grenade:
    • Damage halved, but cooldown reduced from ~~22s~~ → 18s.
    • EP cost reduced at all levels.
  • Destruction Wave:
    • Major balance adjustments applied.
Dende Priest
  • Kami’s Healing Technique:
    • EP Heal-over-Time buff slightly increased.
