Solo/Duo/Trio Dungeon System
Experience all dungeon and TMQ content with smaller parties while maintaining balanced rewards and progression in Ultimate DBO!
Small-Party Dungeon & TMQ Mode
A brand new system has been introduced allowing players to complete eligible Dungeons and TMQs with smaller groups more efficiently.
When entering eligible content with 1 to 3 players, bosses will now drop Coins of Hope instead of their regular boss loot.
These coins can be exchanged for equipment normally dropped inside the dungeon through the new NPC GBT-Hope Collector located in Korin Village near the Auction House.
How Coins of Hope Work
The amount of Coins of Hope obtained depends on the number of real players (unique accounts) inside the party.
This system was specifically designed to discourage multibox abuse and reward legitimate players.
- Solo Run = Rewards scaled for 1 real player
- Duo Run = Rewards scaled for 2 real players
- Trio Run = Rewards scaled for 3 real players
Important Notes
- Normal monsters still drop their regular loot
- Parties with players overleveled by 10+ levels will use the original drop system instead of Coins of Hope
- Standard parties with 4 or more players are unaffected and continue using the normal loot system
- Unique drops such as Cards can still drop during Solo/Duo/Trio runs
Party Scaling & Difficulty Adjustments
To ensure all content remains possible with smaller groups, the dungeon balancing system has been heavily improved.
Solo Party (1 Player)
- Receive 91% less damage (90% inside BIDs)
- Skill damage increased by 175%
Duo Party (2 Players)
- Receive 80% less damage (78% inside BIDs)
- Skill damage increased by 125%
Trio Party (3 Players)
- Receive 70% less damage (67% inside BIDs)
- Skill damage increased by 75%
Full Party (4 Players)
- Receive 22% damage reduction
- Does NOT use the Coins of Hope system
CC Battle Dungeon Exception
CC Battle Dungeon also benefits from the new damage reduction and amplification system.
However, its drops remain unchanged.
This exception exists because CCBD still contains:
- Disabled LP/EP regeneration
- Difficult mechanics
- Extremely challenging encounters even with scaling enabled
Why This System Exists
This feature ensures that older content remains fully playable even when finding a full party becomes difficult.
As more players reach end game, earlier dungeons and TMQs can become harder to organize. With this new system:
- Any player can progress through content alone or with friends
- Smaller groups can still obtain meaningful rewards
- Full parties remain the most profitable method for direct gear farming

Piñata System & Boss Drop Rework
Bosses across Ultimate DBO now have exciting new global rewards with scaling rarity and progression!
Global Boss Reward System
A complete rework of the boss drop system has been implemented.
All bosses listed in the Achievement System now have a chance to drop special rewards.
The higher the boss level and rarity, the higher the drop chance becomes.
For example:
- Early-game bosses have very low chances
- End-game bosses such as UD7 Bardock have significantly higher chances
Possible Rewards
Bosses can now drop items such as:
- Brown Equipment Box
- Silver Equipment Box
- Wagu Coin
- Dogi Property Ball
- Rare Dogi Property Ball
- Legendary Dogi Property Ball
- 100k LP/EP Autopots
- 100k Zeny Popo Banks
- Lv. 50 Scouter Chip Capsules
- Lv. 60 Scouter Chip Capsules
- Lv. 70 Scouter Chip Capsules
- Saibaman Essence
Farming & Progression
Low-level bosses have intentionally low chances of dropping these rewards.
However, players may still obtain lucky drops while leveling through the game.
End-game bosses are intended to become a much more reliable source for farming these valuable items if players are strong enough to defeat them consistently.
