Pet Guide
Overview
The Pet (Mascot) System in Ultimate Dragon Ball Online allows players to obtain and train small companion creatures that provide various utility skills to assist in daily gameplay. While pets do not engage in combat, they offer valuable functions that can enhance the player's experience, such as buffs, auto-looting, or other convenience-based abilities.
There are currently seven obtainable pets in the game:
- Five can be acquired from machines.
- One is available through special event rewards.
- One is obtained via a Dragon Ball Wish.
The available pets are listed below. Despite their different appearances, all pets share the same functionalities, making pet selection purely a cosmetic choice.
Pets grow and evolve through a system of feeding and fusion, allowing players to develop their companions over time. Whether you're looking for a trusty sidekick or just a stylish companion, the Pet System adds an extra layer of customization and utility to the game.

How to Get a Pet from Machines

In every starter town and West City, players can find Pet Merchants who offer pets. At level 5, the quest A reliable partner! from a Pet Merchant will grant a free pet, but otherwise, new pets must be purchased from the Pet Machine for 150,000
.
Buying a pet from the machine gives a pet capsule, which players must open to receive a random pet. Right-clicking the pet item registers it in the Pet Interface (Default shortcut: ,).
These machines, marked on the minimap as a
small green mushroom, are located in:
How to Get a Pet from Event

To get an event pet, you must visit an Event Manager after acquiring Special Event Coins. In the Event Manager interface, go to the last page, Event Coins, and there you will find the Cute Kitten pet available for purchase for 10
Special Event Coins.
These coins are acquired in Limited-time events, so be sure to check when the events are running. Right-clicking the pet registers it in the Pet Inventory.
The Event Manager, marked on the minimap as a
little E in a circle, are located in:
How to Get a Pet from Wish
To obtain the Smile Pattern Underwear pet, players must first collect all 7 Dragon Balls (Tier 2). For more details on how to gather them, check the
Dragon Ball (Tier 2) Hunting page.
Once all seven Dragon Balls are collected, summon
Shenron at the Dragon Shrine. For a full list of available wishes and how to do it, visit the Summoning Shenron page. The wish for the Smile Pattern Underwear pet should be the last option on the wish list.
This pet functions the same as any other pet in the game, with no additional benefits or abilities, its only difference is its unique appearance.
Pet Leveling Process
Pets in Dragon Ball Online can be leveled up using Pet Feed. This special food passively grants experience points (XP) every minute for a duration of 60 minutes. Higher-tier Pet Feed provides more XP per minute, allowing pets to level up faster. To use the Pet Feed you just right-click and it'll appear as a buff next to your health bar.
Pet Feed Types and XP Gains
There are four different types of Pet Feed, each offering a different amount of total XP:
| Pet Feed Type | XP per Minute | Total XP Gained (60 min) |
|---|---|---|
| 64 XP | 3,840 XP | |
| 128 XP | 7,680 XP | |
| 192 XP | 11,520 XP | |
| 384 XP | 23,040 XP |
Each stage has an XP cap.
Required XP to Level Up
| Pet Stage | Required XP |
|---|---|
| Child (Level 1) → Adult (Level 2) | 43,200 XP |
| Adult (Level 2) → Armed (Level 3) | 216,000 XP |
| Armed (Level 3) → Final (Level 4) | 432,000 XP |
| Total XP | 691,200 XP |
Once your pet reaches the maximum XP for its level, you must fuse it with another pet to evolve. This process will be explained in detail in the next section of this guide.
