Ultimate Dragon Ball Online - Features and Updates
Early Game & Starting Areas
- Reworked early levels for a more dynamic, fun experience — new quests as early as level 4.
- Starting area restrictions removed — Humans, Nameks, and Majins can quest together from level 1 on any starting map.
- Popo gifts (levels 2–10): full outfit set plus more rewards across all levels, including a Skill Reset Book and a Class Change item.
Free Character Appearance:
- Edit your character's look for free on the DBO Dashboard.
Solo / Duo / Trio Dungeon System
Makes dungeon and TMQ content accessible for smaller parties — also known as single-player mode (party scaling).
- Enter eligible dungeons or TMQs with 1–3 real players (unique accounts, not multibox characters).
- Parties of 4+ use the original boss drop system (most profitable for direct gear).
- With 1–3 players, bosses drop Coins of Hope instead of normal boss loot — exchange them at GBT-Hope Collector in Korin Village (near the Auction House) for dungeon-related gear.
Coins of Hope — conditions:
- Normal mobs keep their original drops.
- Unique drops (e.g. Cards) can still drop normally.
- If you are 10+ levels above the dungeon level, the original loot system applies (no Coins of Hope).
- Coin rewards scale with the number of real players in the party.
Party scaling (difficulty):
| Party size | Damage reduction | BID reduction | Skill damage increase |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo (1) | 91% | 90% | 175% |
| Duo (2) | 80% | 78% | 125% |
| Trio (3) | 70% | 67% | 75% |
| 4 players | 22% | — | None |
- 4-player parties get damage reduction only — they do not use Coins of Hope.
- Helps complete older content when full parties are hard to find; endgame players can still progress through earlier dungeons/TMQs.
CC Battle Dungeon (CCBD):
- Uses the same damage reduction and skill damage amplification as above.
- Drops unchanged; LP/EP regen stays disabled; other CCBD mechanics unchanged — stays challenging despite scaling.
Piñata System & Boss Drop Rework
- Bosses on the Achievement List can drop bonus Piñata rewards (chance scales with boss level and rarity — e.g. UD7 Bardock has among the highest rates).
- Low-level bosses: very low chance; end-game bosses: best farming targets for strong players.
| Possible Piñata drops |

| Wagu Coin |

| 100k LP/EP Autopots |
