Ultimate Dragon Ball Online - Features and Updates

Early Game & Starting Areas

  • Reworked early levels for a more dynamic, fun experience — new quests as early as level 4.
  • Starting area restrictions removed — Humans, Nameks, and Majins can quest together from level 1 on any starting map.
  • Popo gifts (levels 2–10): full outfit set plus more rewards across all levels, including a Skill Reset Book and a Class Change item.

Changing Your Game Appearance

Change how your character looks at any time — edits on the Dashboard are free (no item or zeni cost).

Opening the Dashboard:
  • Log in with your Forum account and click the Controller icon at the top of the forum to open your Dashboard Panel (same panel used for achievements and other account tools).

Edit Appearance:
  • After your character exists in-game, use Edit Appearance on the dashboard whenever you want a new look.
What you can change:
  • Hair style and hair color
  • Face
  • Skin tone
  • Short cooldown (a few minutes) between edits so changes stay intentional, not spammed.

Achievement System

Track your progress and unlock rewards by completing achievements in Ultimate DBO!

Accessing your achievements:
  • In your Dashboard Panel (see Changing Your Game Appearance above), open the Achievements section for the full list and your progress.
  • In-game: Press the U icon to open achievements without leaving the client.
Understanding achievements:

Each achievement includes:

  • An achievement name and its goal
  • A category for organization
  • Completion status (completed or in progress)
  • Rewards stored in your Donation Storage when claimed
Completing achievements & rewards:
  • Completed achievements are shown visually on the Dashboard.
  • You receive an in-game message when an achievement is completed.

  • Rewards are stored automatically — open the Donation Capsule icon in your sidebar and check Capsule Storage to claim them.

  • Bosses on the Achievement List (same list in your Dashboard) tie into the Piñata System below for bonus drops while you work toward completion.

Solo / Duo / Trio Dungeon System

Makes dungeon and TMQ content accessible for smaller parties — also known as single-player mode (party scaling).

  • Enter eligible dungeons or TMQs with 1–3 real players (unique accounts, not multibox characters).
  • Parties of 4+ use the original boss drop system (most profitable for direct gear).
  • With 1–3 players, bosses drop Coins of Hope instead of normal boss loot — exchange them at GBT-Hope Collector in Korin Village (near the Auction House) for dungeon-related gear.
Coins of Hope — conditions:
  • Normal mobs keep their original drops.
  • Unique drops (e.g. Cards) can still drop normally.
  • If you are 10+ levels above the dungeon level, the original loot system applies (no Coins of Hope).
  • Coin rewards scale with the number of real players in the party.

  • Bosses listed in the Achievement System can drop bonus Piñata rewards while you hunt achievements (chance scales with boss level and rarity — e.g. UD7 Bardock has among the highest rates).
  • Low-level bosses: very low chance; end-game bosses: best farming targets for strong players.

  • UDC Sets for main classes (no sub-class) — e.g. Martial Artist can match Swordman/Fighter strength.
  • Effectively 6 new class playstyles to master and enjoy.

CCBD (Crazy Creatures Battle Dungeon)

  • Floors 1–10 reworked for kid characters (level 29 bosses and gear).
  • 101F+ reworked.
  • New and updated sets, including:
    • Legendary level 55 set
